ACVA Curriculum
The American College of Vedic Astrology has several ways to earn accredited hours towards ACVA Level I and Level II certification.
ACVA Online Program
Learn Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) from home or anywhere and anytime you can access the web. Our Vedic Astrology Online Course is an affordable, convenient, comprehensive program covering the fundamentals of Vedic Astrology. The course material is presented in Level I and Level II modules. Each program takes approximately 10 months to complete. Please view our Online Brochure
The American College of Vedic Astrology offers a Certification Program. When students complete 600 hours of study, they gain eligibility to sit for the ACVA Level I Exam. Completion of the ACVA Online Program provides 600 hours toward this 600-hour requirement.
ACVA Educational Events
The ACVA educational events include conferences, intensives, lectures and workshops. The current list of upcoming events can be found in our Events section.
Self Study
Up to 200 hours of credit is available from study using ACVA approved audio and video tapes. Contact the ACVA office for a suggested materials list based on individual needs.
ACVA Approved Tutors
The use of tutors is an approved method of accruing credit hours toward ACVA Certification. The list of tutors covers the United States and other countries.
ACVA Approved Correspondence Courses
Correspondence Courses can account for up to 200 credit hours toward ACVA Level I Cetification. The list of Correspondence Courses offers six different ACVA Approved courses.
Graduate List
The ACVA Certification Program now has over 200 students enrolled, with 130 graduates of the ACVA Level I Program and 34 graduates of the ACVA Level II Program.
